Where Do Bankruptcy Hearings Take Place?

There are several locations for bankruptcy hearings throughout the state of  Colorado. Every consumer bankruptcy whether it is a Chapter 13 or a Chapter 7 has a “341″ Meeting of Creditors. Currently “341″ Meeting of Creditors take place in different location depending on which of the 4 bankruptcy court districts you reside. For example, if you are in the Dallas District, then your 341 hearing maybe held at: 1100 Commerce Street, Dallas, TX 75242-1496. The Dallas District include the counties of: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cottle, Dallas, Ellis, Foard, Hardeman, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, King, Knox, Montague, Navarro, Rockwall, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young.

Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Grand Junction.

Depending upon the location of your residence, you could appear at any of these locations for your hearings. Due to their ability to handle volume, Denver conducts the vast majority of “341″ Hearings. For your particular case, you will receive a letter in the mail from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court – District of Colorado approximately 7-10 days after filing. This letter will inform as to where and when your hearing will take place.

If you have any questions or concerns about your ability to attend this hearing or you simply need directions to the hearing office, feel free to contact our office at (303) 300-6684.
